Does anyone know where i can buy a brand new clutch master cylinder?
Been told by rob they don’t make them new no more ?
The Clutch Master Cylinder has been hard to find for a few years now and fits and is made only for our cars the GTO & 3000GT by only one company
Due to the very low volume that has been sold over the last few years Mitsubishi has deemed that its not a viable part to sell any longer profit wise and has stopped ordering and stocking it and so it is no longer available from any where in the world.
I have contacted the original manufacturer and they are not interested in making this part in less than a 1000pcs
So that is not an option as that is about a 100 years worth on the volume i am currently selling
All the idiots on Ebay and the like who just list stuff from the wholesalers who don’t know what’s going on with parts as they are not specialists etc… are going to find them selves refunding money all the time, this part is simply not out there to obtain and believe me i have tried for some of you guys as you know.
I am currently developing a replacement Clutch Master Cylinder with the help of AP Racing technical dept to enable me to supply a new replacement part for the Cars with Vacuum assist, We are having the main body made in billet Alloy and AP are helping with the internals, we hope to have this up and running in the next 6 weeks and also we are seeing if we can make the clutch pedal lighter even with a heavy duty clutch, so this part will also be an upgrade for the guys with tuned cars
I am currently the only company that strives to make new versions of parts Mitsubishi has decided to make obsolete and no longer available and it takes a lot of time and money to do so, especially when the sales volumes are low and the investment takes a long time to recover, so you will have to bear with me with lead times on some of this stuff i am Re-manufacturing
NON turbo cars with the other style Master Cylinder still have stock available in Japan

Appreciate what you do to help us keep our cars on the road Rob.
And i will be honest i will remember this when i go to order something for my car next time.
instead of buying it from elsewhere my order will go to you, as without someone doing things like developing replacement parts we cant get, we wouldn’t be able to keep these cars on the road.
