Found one... 3000GT :)

Well after looking… and looking and looking some more I have found a 3000GT

It needs a little work to make it a show car though but being almost 20 years old you expect that

Things I noticed

Active Aero not working. Only back one working. Suspect front ones jammed

Suspension flashing sports light. Will check wiring.

Rusty disks all around

Wheels need a refurb

Little bits of rust around the sun roof

Cracks in paint on the front bumper

Altinator belt wine

Headlights need cleaning lacquer coming off

The owner is going to get it moted before I get it and fix any problems to get it moted

Managed to get it for a good price

The last time I had one was back in 2002 so it’s a long time coming

Well done Micheal :relaxed:

Picked her up this morning.

Found out on the way home that it sounds like she needs a front wheel bearing also but apart from that she pulls like a plain

Ok now after having the car for a little bit i have found the following problems

Easy fix’s can do myself

Fix driver’s window button
Fix driver’s wing mirror
Repair interior lights
Remove chave led’s
Restore fuse’s
Clean engine
Fix active aero
Fix suspension sport flashing
Fix window screen blower
Replace front indicators
Replace front number plate

Slightly Harder fix’s can do myself

Restore head lights
New brake pads
New disks
Wheel Bering/hub

Hard fix’s

Respray roof
Remove car park dents x2
Front bumper… repair badly filled in logo or replace bumper
Remove and restore anti roll bar to black
Restore wheels / change wheels

Starting to feel a little bit of buyers remorse… But i did pay £4.900 for it and i know it needed some work… the list just keeps getting longer :o:

Also how hard is it to change the front wheel hub? i’m pretty competent in working on cars, are they a pain to get off?
