Helpful Flags

Hi, @DeanMarkTaylor I notice you have got some helpful flags, how does one give one of these, or is it just Committee members who have this option - to give them?

Thanks.

Tracie

Helpful flags, flagged posts, deleted posts and other types of flags are marked against users when:

  • they report bad content or problem post
  • or when something they posted has been flagged by another user

And a moderator / administrator agrees or find it helpful.

Usually people can’t see these flags - you can because you are a moderator.

Is this the helpful flag button?? @DeanMarkTaylor

That’s the “Flag” button:

Press it and it will list a whole bunch of options:

There isn’t a way to say it’s helpful… that’s missing the idea.

If you say flag a post as “Off-topic” and the admin / moderator agrees, then you might get a helpful flag.

Be-careful though - they might disagree  - then you get another kind of flag against your account.

@DeanMarkTaylor :frowning: just noticed your mistake :frowning: don’t let Stevie see he won’t forget it :stuck_out_tongue:

I only noticed when pressing buttons

This isn’t me or my mistake, the text is defined by the upstream developers.

Although you perhaps “own” the bookmark items in this case “bookmarks” is plural and apostrophes are never used to denote plurals.

Think you missed the mistake I ment.

I had highlighted what turned out to be the bookmark button…(you said it was the flag button)

The flag button has a flag and a pole in it.

I spotted that you had highlighted the bookmark icon tbh matey , as your a pikey though I knew education would be lacking so let it slide
