I had mine rebuilt once, but cheaper but obviously means your car will be off the road for a little bit
How much did it cost out of interest?
The bearings in mine aren’t that smooth, I’d rather not put it back in like that
between £45 and £65, most of the time its the electrical components that fail.

Wonder how hard it would be to source and fit bearings myself?
It’s normally the brushes I think rather than bearings.
It’s not a difficult job to rebuild one

yea get it refurbed mate ,ive went through a few over the years ,they suffer from heat soak sitting in traffic .werethere positioned on the car isn’t the best place lol I used to have a cold air feed to mine but now ive deleted the aircon so I just need to switch the aircon fan onif sitting in traffic to keep it cool
