My fella was on the way to mine this morning and sent me a picture of this on the M1 heading northbound and then onto the M18. Gave him stern orders to follow as I needed to know if there was another GTO fanatic near by. Needless to say, he told me where to stick it.

If your a full member ask @stevie for some or if you are going to the AGM collect a bundle there. Have placed four now but keep the flyers in mine, my wife’s and me dads car. All good for promotion

This was a very curious situation. I had a GTOUK flyer mysteriously appear on my doormat one day. I was out at the time. I posted up on this thread about it - there wasn’t anything else on the flyer, such as a phone number etc, other than the club’s details - and got no response.
Then, about a month later, a red NA pulls up outside (the guv called out to me to say a Ferrari had just stopped outside…), and a fella and his missus get out.
Turns out his daughter was looking to buy a property in the area and she ventured down my road, saw the car, and promptly told her dad, who then paid me a visit.
Weird thing is, he isn’t, or wasn’t then, online, so cannot possibly access the Forum. I just wondered how he can be kept informed about the Club/Technical etc etc without going online.

Oh… that’s who it is, we know him as Cyril Barnfather, all is explained now Mike, he doesn’t have a computer, Steve and I have to ring or write to him to keep him up to date on meets.
Nice chap, and his wife, I’m sure he’ll be attending one or two meets throughout the year.
Next time Steve rings him, I’ll get him to mention it.
