My dad has got what we believe to be a mk1 3000gt but we are struggling to find the exact year of manufacture as the vin number on the log book does not have enough numbers to search it. We have the platform number which is Z16A-0008326 (this is the number we have been issued as the vin).
The car is as first registered in the uk in 2002 and then in the Isle of Man in 2011.
If you could please help us out in anyway we would really appreciate it as tax is due in a few weeks and if we can get the original year at of manufacture we get reduced tax (currently £397!).
The Manx licensing dept are will to accept official year of manufacture from an official car club so we are hopeful you can help?
