Sorry Neil
What is the Plot, do we need to bring our own drink and food ?
Do we have a BBQ ? , or is it get food from the site ?
Simon
Hi,
On Friday last year, we went to the pub and got a cheap meal. On the Saturday we will do a bbq. We will also make some Sangria or something similar. We will also have some soft drinks and tea/coffee. If people want alcohol I suggest everyone brings some along. We will have some but not enough for everyone the whole weekend
Last year, we cooked a basic breakfast on the Saturday, and we all went out on the Sunday morning for a full English.
Friday pub or Takeaway etc not supplied by us.
Saturday breakfast (bacon rolls etc) supplied by us
Saturday early evening bbq supplied by us
Sunday eat out for breakfast not supplied by us or help yourself to cook something etc.
Simon thanks for pointing this out, I have sent various PM’s about food etc and forgot to mention it to everyone
Cheers,
Neil.
Neil all the troubles this week have put the block on me getting my workload finished by Friday and making it this weekend.
If there is any other member that would like to go in my place for the two nights of camping just use my entry.
A bit disappointed just hope it settles down soon
Malc
What a shame Malcolm. Sorry to hear that the trouble has caused you problems and spoiled your weekend.
Mandy
wow Simon, that car looks stunning!
Mandy
Thats a shame Malc, was looking forward to catching up. All work and no play etc etc !!!
Do we have any of the clubs Gazeebo’s and other equipement with us for the weekend?
Anything useful we need to bring along if we have it?
I’m thinking stoves, kettles, Flasks, folding tables that sort of thing…
Marty
Hi,
We will have two gazebos, stove (although if anyone could bring another would be handy, as there is a lot to cook for). I will also bring a kettle, two tables, generator, beer fridge, paper plates, cups etc. So most things should be covered.
Cheers,
Neil.
Weathers not looking too bad! not as nice as last year mind you
If it stays dry, I will be very happy
Sorry you cant make it Malcolm, that is a shame.
Neil.

When you arrive. You have to mention my name. Neil swindlehurst.
Well, I’m just sitting down to a nice cup of coffee after driving back from the Birthday Bash. I could not have spent the week-end with a more fantastic bunch of people! Loved seeing the cars lined up too - they always look great. GTO UK YOU ROCK :bandance:
I had a great time (apart from wasps)
Special thanks to Neil, Sam and Simon for organising the event, the music, bringing all that stuff (gazebos, fridge, coooking apperatus and going shopping) … and everyone else who did their bit.
Roll on our 23rd Birthday Bash.
ps. Neil - I just popped into the shops and because I’m going to JAE, at the top of my shopping list was INSECT REPELANT! So I’ll be armed with Wasp repelant which I got from Boots, wasp spray, wasp candles … ha ha - they aint gonna get me again!
Mandy
Well home and shattered but had a great time, lovely to see everyone again, a good turn out for our 2nd Birthday Bash.
A huge thank you to Neil & Sam for organising this, and all those who helped on the day, it’s much appreciated by us.
Just a few pics of the event.
