All the weather does is tell us to wear shorts or longs…your skin is water proof!!! There is always the pub. No harm in drinking and driving as long as you face the oncoming traffic and face it with confidence.
What time are the gazeeboo-setting-up-people getting there, as i might come down early and give a hand (and get away from the madness here before our party starts) as i need to leave early (16:00-ish).
There is a hotel if you feel unable to drive and its very reasanoble

We were going to show up (although not actually said we were going to) but the ■■■■■■ weather is far too depressing…
Well we just got back from The famous Essex Bar b q and all I can say is the phrase ■■■■ ups and brewerys comes to mind.
A gas Bar b q without a hose or regulator? Mmm let me think maybe somebody should have checked that it was all there??
A Bar b q that was supposed to start around 2 o clock and at 3 o clock the food is still in the supermarket??
Some of us drove a long way to support this event and there wasnt even so much as an apology from the event organiser who after shouting about how nice the weather was and everybody get your arses down there, incidently only stayed for about an hour, Well done Rob, dont bother next year!
