Hi, can I ask how important these guards are. Mine got rusty and I ended up pulling it off a few months back. I just wrapped the rubber hose with heat wrap to protect it from the exhaust. Thanks.
It protects the rubber fuel filler hose from the heat of the exhaust system and being hit by things on the road, which is probably unlikely, but if it did happen you may end up travelling back in time (or at least appearing like you’re about to!)…
