Hi and welcome Stuart. I’m in central Fife. Hope to see you around at the Scottish shows this season. Can’t wait to get the car out when the weather improves and the salt goes away. Your car looks good by the way.
Bill.

You don’t need to wait for the weather she’s my daily haha
Hey good to see a few locals on here, just bought a 1994 GTO TT (blue) A couple of weeks ago. Would be good to hear any local events in Scotland and also anyone that has found a garage that knows these cars? I had a mk1 TT about 12 years ago(also blue ) and got recommended to RJM auto engineers in Glenrothes, didn’t have the car long just got them to check it over and do a full exhaust system that was amazing, think they knew their stuff. Think there’s somewhere in Perth that specialises in Jap cars but would need to ask more to find out where it was. Would be great to have a place like the guys down south Eurospec keeps getting a mention??

Welcome aboard
Gtouk north of the border, “Scotland Register” is really going, well done Spiros
Any chance some of you can come to the clasdic and restoration show at the Nec 31/3 1-2/4?
Great thanks for the contacts Scott, good to know there are some locals out there that can point me in the right direction, I’ll probably try the garage Spiros recommended first and see how I get on there as it is a lot closer. Hopefully it will be a while until I have to make my first trip
Would love to come down to NEC to meet up with some of the other members, unfortunately can make this one, when the details of the next one are out hopefully will make that one.
I take it you mean to take part or to visit. I’d you can pop up a link to it or something I’ll try get my car to a decent standard
Thanks Stuart should have said can’t make this one, got a ever growing list of things to do to car, defiantly a lifetime project
Unfortunately top early for me jerry as my car wont be ready .ill be doing then nationals in may First rd trip
I have a few shows organised this year with my club clanjapan matę .classic at errol in june and one in dumfries aug you guys are more than welcome to tag along could be more also doing a camping trip in july to ullapool and Durness
For this show at the NEC we have cars organised for the stand space we have in hall 7.
Each club there has a limit on no of cars.
So its a case of visiting the show and maybe doing sone time on our stand, l have a few spare free tickets for those that could fancy that.
Otherwise its a great show for cars generally and those who want or are rebuilding, lots of stuff to do with that.
Its the first time we have done this type of show and l hope it will be great for the club and the cars also l hope to see some of you there.
Thanks for the interest Jerry
Same here car is on the road but I’ve got few things to do and will cost lots of Scottish Pounds
I could take a ticket off your hands would happy take two if it’s not to greedy. What’s the date for the show?.,plus I’d love to put my car on a stand but it’s not show car quality I’m sad to admit
yea simon at sitech rebuilt my engine years ago on my red car he was the first guy I wet to 10 years ago he knows the cars well.plus hes more local to you as you said
