Are you bringing much pitroad m stuff? If you are then is there any chance you could bring a 6speed gearnob - hopefully with a good wee price…!

Simon,

I’ll take 4 mate. Cheque to usual place, or paypal or what?

If there is one, can i have a stand pass too? Not desperate for that, but if there is one at least i can put it on there!

Cheers,

Ben.

I wasn’t aware (more fool me) that any old club cars could go on the stand! Doh, my car is booked on the Banzaiclub stand @ JAE this year, but I will definatley be having a wander over to the GTO-UK stand to say hello to you all! Really looking forward to meeting you.

Its hard being loyal to 2 great clubs, I too was wanted on the Banzai club stand but GTO had little competition :praise: :praise:
I dont think any club can top what we had last year and hopefully, this year will be as good.
Your missing out buddy :!:

Ok so this being my first event can someone step through the procedure

gonna have my wife and kids in the mitis and some friends following.

Now i have 2 tickets so how will i pay for the kids?

I dont have a membership card will i need one?

Where will my friends have to park?

cheers chris

I also have a couple of questions:

I’ll be getting there about 9 on saturday morning and paying on the gate if I don’t get hold of a ticket before hand so how do I get to the club stand once I’m in and do I need a pass of any kind?

All tickets now sold

Simon

To answer some of your questions for the newbies:

On arrival at the gate you will give over your ticket if you have one or pay on the gate… you will be issued with a wristband for access on and off the site, also a map of the event and entry forms for various events.

Follow the map to the GTO stand or Camping areas…The map is also on page 1 of this thread. Most of us who are camping will be trying to camp in the area nearest the club stand.

If you have friends who are coming for the day, they will nead to park in the public car park… all cars on the stand are GT/Gto’s apart from the club support vehicles.

Food is provided for payed up members ( you will be issued a wrist band ) over the Saturday and Sunday, usuall burgers, bacon, sausages in buns etc…on the Saturday evening we have hired a company to provide a hog roast… For those of you arriving to help set up on the friday evening, we usualy head off to the pub over the road for food.

Alcohol is provided by yourself, tea, coffee, soft drinks etc are provided by the club.

There will be a club merchandise stand this year.

Main thing is to get together and have fun. Dont forget to bring your costume for our beach party on Saturday night.
Oh and if everyone can start praying for the summer to arrive, we may stay dry.

Hope this answers some of your questions, any more post them up, i will try to answer them, and if i cant i will find a man who can…

Angel

Kind of a stupid question from me again. What kind of power supply is available? I’m think for mobile phone charging etc…

Get a car phone charger

Mark

Ok - not a stupid question - just a random offer…I bought myself a tent for this - not knowing if the old family one was in a condition to be usable. Turns out it is…as a result I have a spare tent if anyone needs one.

there is mains power available, I am sure we can spare a socket!

Thanks for that Angel, I like to know whats going on I guess it must be old age setting in…

Really looking foreward to this but I’ve got to be back to pick up the twins by 6 so will sadly miss the “beach” party…

never mind maybe the next one, does GTOUK cover all the jap meets throughout the year or just this one?

As far as i was aware it was always bring your own…but i could be wrong…i think there was some alcopops for the ladies last year.
