We would like to add, this to the facebook page.
Please can we have a short write up, and a good photo of a car and the Trophy
Simon
Thanks to Simon and Steve for their input.
Well, compared to last year’s Classic Jap Show, the attendee numbers were noticeably down - though I speak only from Sunday’s experience.
The area where GTOUK members parked last year was totally vacant this year, and generally there were gaps in many show areas.
This year, our Club was sited at the very left hand end of the grid lane, where the 7 of us were parked up a little way from the more central grid area. We were effectively on our own. But, of course, the GTO/3000GT has many admirers, apart from us, so our line up drew many fans away from the hubbub to us.
There were two other GTO/3000GTs on the site, both red, and worthy of joining our set, had their owners been GTOUK members.
It was great to meet new faces, and to hear their stories about how they became owners and members.
So, well done to our newer members….in no particular order…..LOUIS; TIM; CHRIS, and ALISTAIR, and two more senior members MARTY and MICK J, plus me, the elder of the group.
Our group consisted of many variants, both in marque and age, including a very low mileage black TT, at least 2 NAs, and 1 with a Z15A vin code; Marty’s remarkable Evo engined beauty, and Mick J’s beautiful 3000GT.
I was impressed how proud everyone I spoke to was with their car.
Well done!
Until the next meeting then….

Great to finally meet some other owners. Also I managed to snap around 50 good photos of the cars and slowly getting round to editing them all. Here is one of the trophy. I’ll post again with a link to a dropbox or a zipped file containing the compressed images. If anyone would like the full res copies please send me a message with the image number and I’ll find a way to send them as they are around 100mb each.
