I have booked with the venue a table enough for 12 so we should be good to eat toegther if we want to aswell. Certainly me and the kids will so thats 4 already. Ive booked a table for 2/230 so if you want to eat you can if not no worries, you can sit and watch us

It’s really sad but I find myself feeling guilty walking passed the GTO and telling it not to worry it’s just a phase!
Plan on selling the Nissan soon although I’ve been told to put it in the garage with a blanket over it for a few years as it is becoming a bit of a classic.

Yeah good money to be made in those ‘ricer’ cars, lol no way near as classy as the gto. Had some guy come up to me today said he hadn’t seen one in the village for 20 years and it made his day… Do you get that in the shopping cart:joy:

Yep, there’s no way the Tokyo taxi is as special as a GTO. GTO is more stable at speed, has a reassuring clunk when you shut the door and is not that much heavier in MR form ( Skyline 1480 kg my MR 1540kg on the same weighbridge). GTO is just so much prettier too.
Would have to concede that the skyline handles better. It feels a lot lighter and more agile and the RB26 just loves revs, it’s amazing. I’ve put a pair of r34 turbo’s on mine and the boost comes in strong low down and it feels fast but as the revs climb it starts to shriek and flies towards the red line, it’s nuts. It makes for a very wide power band.
