Mitsubishi 3000GT For Sale

The Mitsubishi is going to have to go. After a few days of talks etc with my Mrs we are going to have to go for something more family orientated that can tow… ( I know!!) Details are below… I have just been to a garage ref part ex and they are getting back to me Monday as he needs to make a few calls as he has no idea what its worth

Mileage coming up to 115k does get used daily and will rise… I average 24mpg and live 4 miles from work!

Features

Mk1 gt3000 ( in red of course!!)
Full (and i mean full) service by eurospec 30/11/13 all belts fluids. Drive shaft gator. New rear turbo oil drain. Front rocker cover gasket. New oil cooler and braided lines, 2 x new fan switches and 2 x prop mounts and everything else their 60k service includes ( PCV valve plugs etc)
Active aeros (everything possible was serviced)
New battery.
New 4 wheel steer lines. Custom made in stainless steel these will not corrode again!!
Polished plenum front rocker cover and red magnecor leads ( to be fitted)
Brand new rad and mishimoto hoses to be fitted
oz super t wheels 265 good tyres on rear, 245 on fronts all 18inch now reurbed in black with new oz stickers
new starter motor ( i still have the old that can be sent away for exchange if ever needed again)
piston style oil filler cap.
New brakes and pads all round ( grooved stop techs)
Brand new front pipe through to back box s/steel exhaust.
regular oil changes
loads of history alot of mitsubishi initially then various garages and specialists.
Bluetooth Mechless head unit if you don’t stream music I can put the alpine back in
Ecu leaky caps repaired by ecu doctor
Spare ignition barrell back ( not sure what its called lol)

Known issues

Cruise control intermittant so seems like a vacuum issue
usual wear on seats but not overly bad as she has done 115k
MOT til Sept 23rd 16

I have been replacing as much as possible with original parts and some very discreet upgrades. namely the wheels and slightly more agressive bonnett vents. Original bonnet bumps included in sale

I’m including everything in this sale as I want the car to go to someone who has the intention of restoring it to the standard that I have been.
Every spare / replacement part I have will be included in the sale of this.

£4700 gets everything all my spares and extras… This is literally a no expense spared car

please be advised the eurospec bill alone was £2300 so if you think what you could get through Ebay and then the potential spending you will need to do to make it anywhere near road worthy could potentially be astronomical and you could purchase this several times over.

Active aeros are sticking occasionally, air con could do with a regas
Quality HID kit installed
Lazy eye kit easily removed no wires needed cutting
Full brake refurb by big red

I have had the car fully striped down in terms of skirts etc… all work has been completed by body and soul auto works, coated in raptor (they paint this on the bottom of green laning 4x4’s) then re painted… I would put money on it this is one of the most solid 3000gts on the road if not the most… Even imports are starting to show grotty sills if they haven’t been coated all the work has been completed on this

I will see if I get any interest through the forum although this maybe short lived depending on what is offered part ex…

I’ve got about a fortnight before this goes in for part ex as the car im having doesn’t come in until then. If anyone wants to make a sensible offer you have until around 5th June by the time everything is sorted and the car is gone then the addition of forecourt prices…

Less than a week to go now. Have got all the spares ready. If you know anyone I can take 3600 and include all the spares this is what I would be looking at by the time I’ve factored in postage of the spares if it gets chopped in. So I’m clear this is what I would end up with at the end of the deal anyway so can’t and won’t go any lower. If anyone is interested please don’t contact if you think you will get it for less… That’s a bargain at garage swap prices would prefer to see it go to someone who will look after it like i did.

Sadly traded. Get the feeling shell have a shoeing tonight… Shame would have been a real good buy. Few small niggles to sort but anyone with a little time could have done them all in half a day

Was expecting her to get auctioned off. Still a steal at that price (in my eyes anyway) shame as would have been a bargain if it had come from me prior to trading. Hopefully it will find its way back here left the gtouk cup holder in so there are pointers left in it!
