THE 8th (JAPS) JAPANESE AUTO & PERFORMANCE SHOW
Sorry Julian,

Dell and I are both working or we would have been there, hopefully next time.
Hope you all have a great day.

Dawn
Thanks Dawn, doesn`t look a bad turn out & anyway last year it was pis*ing it down, we all huddled under Smudges gazeebo that leaked, drank some beer & filled up on burgers & hot dogs & still managed to have a good time, so whatever is thrown at us we will still give it our best

Julian.

Hi Julian, Thatā€™s great

I will probably be by myself.

Cheers,
Steve

OK Steve see you there.

Julian.

Everyone who purchased tickets from me should now have had them in the post, no need to reply unless you dont have them, Bustnuts, yours were posted first class yesterday 8)

Julian.

paul

Just a quick note, it`s forcasting rain for Sunday, we do have 2 gazeebos to put up, but if you require a seat I suggest you bring one with you, only so much we can fit in Dianes Scenic

Julian.

Sorry if I am misinformed Julian.

Iā€™ve heard that this event has been cancelled because of the rain. Please feel free to bash me with a large blunt object if I am wrong!

That was last year?

Get me a large blunt instrument  Have just spoken to the man himself & YES IT IS STILL ON !!!

It had better be, I have just bought 3 hundred weight of Burgers & Sausages 8) 8) See you all there

Julian.

Been up to Thoresby & staked our claim to a pitch & put up the club banner, as you go thro where you pay, the arena is directly in front of you, we are at this end & to the left of that

Julian.

Great stuff Julian, we cant plan the weather, but it looks like you have cetrtainly got everything else well orgnised.

Good effort looking forward to it.

Tracie

I am bunged up to the eyes with man flu  just sat & peeled & cut up what seems like a 56lb bag of onions & my eyes are killing me, partly loaded up Dianeā€™s Scenic, I cannot believe the amount of stuff there is to bring, the ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  gazeboss are huge & take 2 people to lift em  , dont know what I would have done without Diane, shes doing all the things I wouldn`t think about, preparing salad, making home made coleslaw, sorting some cakes etc etc, this event organising is certainly a 2 person thing 8) Rain or shine we will be there

Julian.

What makes its work Good teamwork mate
Sounds like itā€™s going to be worth the 450 mile round trip :o
dont forget a bucket & sponge to clean these cars off if the heavens do decide to open up

Malc

Sorry I couldnā€™t make it
Didnā€™t get car back together till lateā€¦ got to Thoresby about 3-45, saw some people coming out so I headed back home. Then the Monsoon came, never seen so much rain :x

Anyway hope you all had a good one, prolly catch you at the next.

Craig

Brilliant day, decent turn out & everything went as planned, bit damp to start with but the sun did eventually come out to see us, Malc & Peteā€™s cars ( Midlife crisis & Snoop Doggy )should have won everything in the arena but we had some bias judging, hereā€™s a few piccies Diane took,

Me on the BBQ, head chef 8)

Even my & Dianeā€™s dog ( on the left ) had a good time, this is his new love he met today

I even had an apprentice ( Joseph, Dianeā€™s son )

Last but not least a view of Thorsby Hall

Julian & Diane.

Truly excellent day, all your hard work and organisation paid off and made it a thoroughly enjoyable meet, the food was excellent and after a dodgy start we even managed to persuade the sun to come out too.

Thanks Julian & Diane for making it a great meet, these things donā€™t go so smoothly without a lot of hard work.

Stevie & Tracie

Looks like a good time was had by all.

How many cars did you have in total on display
