But by a twist of fate, I may still be going - in my son’s turbo 260z!!
He has a place on the Auto Finesse stand, but has just had a last minute posting abroad - his loss, my gain

Hi @Lara, sorry only just clocked your message. Me and @Marty_K are looking to get there for gates open at 7am. I’ve got a couple of niggly issues with the car so want to avoid any queuing if poss (and get a decent pitch hopefully).
We are coming from Swindon, A420, A34, A43

Sorry all, I didnt make it
Oil pressure guage suddenly dropped right off and even down to zero.
Its not my car and has an expensive built engine, so after checking as much as I could, I drove it back to his house.
Oil pressure did eventually come back up to normal, but not worth risking it. I suspect its the sensor itself, but we’ll see…
