first post, but I thought I would go for aan appeal.
I am looking a UK GTO TT or VR4.
ideally well cared for with little or no mods with paperwork to back it up.
would prefer not red !
and an appeal for information which may make people irate ! which GTO had auto boxes and what are they like ?

The UK spec cars are all the twin turbo models. The TT and automatic versions are all imports to the UK. There are 1 or two UK spec ones for sales and I think there is a black one on eBay which is fairly standard.

Assume your in the uk?
In which case you’ll not find a VR4 as hey are American spec only and all left hand drive.
The U.K. 3000gts are top spec all manual and all twin turbo
The auto boxes were only put in non turbos hey are ok IF looked after.

From what I could tell (not a pro) it has been well looked after and has the mileage backed up. Bodywork needs a couple of bits sorting but most importantly there is no rust underneath.
The wheels aren’t to my taste but they are genuine autostradas which would buy a nice set from evil empire
