Joined Army (REME) in 1974 as mechanic (started on helicopters but changed to vehicles after a year). Left in 1987, became an Army instructor both in UK and Middle East. Came home in 2006 and started teaching in Colleges until I semi-retired in 2015 as Head of Automotive at Abingdon & Witney College
