Hi,

Four tyres included - two almost new and two not very new – all four legal though. Comes with lightweight nuts and the special tool to fit them.

Would prefer them to go to an enthusiast, so if you’re interested, drop me a PM. A similar set sold for A$2000 recently. I’m after £500 for the set (rims and tyres) if they go to somebody in the club – if I put these on ebay they’ll be up for £750. I can arrange a courier (at cost – you’re looking at about 50 quid), I can deliver to JAE, or you can collect from Sheffield S6.

More photos and details below – please check before buying! You’ll also notice I have uploaded 12 megapixel photos so you can see everything!

Thanks,
Anthony.

They came with the car from Japan (the car was imported in 2002), and currently have on them road legal tyres, with the back two being basically new (2,000 miles and still have the injection moulding tassles), and the front two plenty of wear left.

They also haven’t done that many miles, as the car itself is at 39,000km since 1991, and the wheels were manufactured in April 1996 (the stickers are still on the insides with manufactured date, serial number, and lots of Japanese writing).

To fit the wheels you need to undo the large centre nut (with the included plastic spanner) then you have very recessed wheel nuts, so there is also an adaptor for the standard wheel brace – these two together also act as great anti theft devices.

I’d describe them as having being kerbed, so a refurb would get them looking totally perfect, if you aren’t bothered about perfect however, they do look great as it is. I’ve put pictures up of each wheel, the 4 together, as well as two pictures with them on the car (taken last week), and one of the tread.

New wheels have arrived though, so have taken these off and gave them a quick pressure wash while I cleaned the car (ready for JAE).
