1993 3000 GT Twin Turbo - Failing to start and Introduction

Guys, just to update you the battery kept going flat on the car, borrowed a charger from a friend and had it plugged in for around 6 hours. It didn’t work had to put jump leads on but just a bit worried about checking the plugs as I see smoke coming from my alternator / starter motor area and a bit of smoke from the ground connection on the (fairly new battery) it also literally morphed the jump leads with the heat :confounded:

Does the starter still turn the engine over mate ?

Okey. Does the check Engine light work then you turn the key?
I think it should light up in the begining…

And I think you can hear the fuel pump then you turn the key to ignition on (not all the way).
Have someone to listen at the fuel tank, if you do this.

I’ve spoken to Hussy on the phone, He has ran out of messages to respond.

He’s gonna check some stuff out on his car and get back to us when he can.

I’m not too sure but John has kindly offered to come out and take a look at the car this afternoon.

It does show when I put the key into ACC but when cranking it does flash on / off as does the SPORT light.

She starts!! Will post the results of todays tinkering tomorrow, tired after pulling the engine apart right now.
