I’m also about to turn 21 with soon to be 2 years ncb with admiral and i’ve also got a 306 turbo diesel at the moment and am about to buy a GTO off my dad. I’m a bit worried about the insurance though.
Is the GTO higher insurance than a 3000GT? If so why is that?

Yes the GTO is generally alot more to insure. The GTO being an import is what makes the difference. For some reason insurance companies dont like imports.
The 3000gt being a uk car is much cheaper to insure and is the one you should be trying to buy only being 21.
I think some people pay less for a 3000gt TT than a N/A GTO, strange but true
