23 2yrs NCB - Which Insurance Company to use?

Ive got a best quote of £2000 so far from Elephant Fully Comp

Must be something better than this??

sounds about right dont think you will get much cheaper - dont forget it is group 20 and your 23!

True True, thats around half of what the car is worth!

Insurance companies are a joke though.

What are other people with around my age??

well i’m 24 - 3 years NCB unmodded 15k car Tesco £1600 fully comp

dont forget postcode makes a big difference i’m Leeds 17 which is medium rated crime

try admiral, they underwrite elephant.co.uk.

i got mine with them, 21, 2 ncb, 3 points £1064 FC 1994 3000GT

Last year i got £1800 TPFT, i was 24, 1 yr ncb. But living in central london… that was with Keith Michaels.

Oops… I edited it accordingly!

The place will be a war zone soon!

It’s worth a phone call though. generally I found that with imports i got cheaper prices calling than on the net anyway…

they are still quotin me 2300-2500 and i’m 35 this year with a genuine clean licence and 2 year ncb

dont forget some of these low quotes are for UK cars check the sigs and quotes… 3000GT… thats half a GTO price straight off

Try Aon Private Clients. In my second year with them. They run a ‘Classic Car Every Day Roadster Policy’ mines fully comp with 4yrs no claims £690 on a '92 GTO TT import. Th epolicy is underwritten by Royal Sun Alliance.

Phone No. 01384 552700

How old are you though and your post code?

I just renewed through Lifesure (the agents), and ditched AON as they tried to put it up by £300 to almost £1k… unbelieveable… Had them do another look around, and got it for £600’ish… much better…

Age: OLD! over 35 feels like 90
Post code WN8 which is Wigan (although i don’t live in Wigan, or its Borough) but, 20 miles East of Liverpool, 20 miles North West of Manchester, 20 miles South of Preston. You could say i’m in the middle of England’s Burmuda Triangle (everything goes missing within these boundaries)

I know literally 100’s of people who have been a victim of car crime in this area. Just keep shopping around, and shop some more, you are the buyer so don’t let them dictate to you, thats the trouble with us British (me included on many occasions). We are great at:
1-standing in queue’s
2-getting ripped off by the Financial Services Sector (Banks,Insurers etc.)
3-not sending our food back in a restaurant when the chef have fu**ed our meal up.

SHOP-SHOP-SHOParound until you get the right deal !!!

Hmm it all comes down to age, post code, NCB, points on the licencse and timing i guess.

Quite a few of you havent put your age down and a few are alot older (sorry!) so its a bit unrealistic for me!
