This years** “ 2 Fast 2 Furious and American Muscle “** custom car show is on Saturday the
16th. August 2008… in Ashington Sussex.
For those that are travelling and are thinking of somewhere to camp we have the same agreement
as last year… that being that camping on the show ground itself is allowed on the Friday night
before and also on the Saturday night after the show for those who are thinking of staying on for
the evening entertainment…
Like previous years the evening entertainment will be a Live Ban, Licensed Bar, Food and the
evening finishes with a giant Fireworks Display…
2 Fast and 2 Furious car show is like previous years, totally free and has plenty of other
entertainment for both your wife and children to enjoy, the only costs you may occur is if buying
from a stall or car boot sale as well as paying for rides on the Fare ground…

This year the Sussex Mini Owners club have chosen to come to this years 2Fast 2Furious car
show turning down their usual stand at one of the major Mini car show events held in the
country…
It would be nice if our GTO club could put on as bigger display as they seem to be doing.
I just thought I’d say that if any members are thinking of travelling down to this years show it
would be helpful if they could say so I can make sure a space is kept for them…
Over the past couple of weeks I have received calls from other car clubs all requesting more info
on the show with their intention of attending it this year… their telling me that their attending a
number of other car shows recently as far as Southampton, Kent and shows held more inland that
2 Fast and 2 Furious and American Muscle custom car show is being widely talked about as now
being a recognised, must go to event of the year…
Worthing car show last Sunday confirming the interest with 500 fliers leaving our hands within
less than 30 minutes of my arriving and the rest of the afternoon being spent telling the many
other car owners that requested a flier we had run out…
This is probably the first year I have become a little concerned about space and the last thing I
want to see happen is any members from this club travelling a distance to find they are squeezed
in rather then having a decent position to show their motor.
Lets hope the weather is a good as it was on Sunday
