Damn, getting insurance for these things isn’t easy.
- i’m 24
- European Driving licence (EEC), for 6,5 years (full B & C)
- 5,5 years noclaim bonus
- in the UK since 2006
- good postcode
- location overnight : Private secure (gates/cctv) residential car park
- 4000 annual mileage
- Advanced driving certificates (as a paramedic i drive ambulance’s + response cars on high speed, so got several advanced driving certificates)
And i’m after a 1992 GTO TT with cat 1 alarm + immobilizer.
Called the following companies so far :
- Direct line - “you have to be 25”.
*- Elephant *- “we don’t do GTO’s”.
*- Mark Richards *- “make and model doesn’t come up on the system”
- Premiumchoice (sproke to David) - “No UK licence is a problem, will call me back eventually?”
- Cheshire insurance - “too young”
*- Adrian Flux *- “need to be a resident over 2 years”
*- Tesco *- “will need a tracker”
The only quote i got so far is from Bell.co.uk, which is 1200 fully com or 1015 tpft.
Will still call Sky insurance, but they’re busy all day, and will give A-plan a call tomorrow (as their lines close at 5)
Been harder then i thought this, i feel like i spend the entire day on the phone, and only got 1 quote so far.
Only other companies you guys think i should give a ring ?
(i’ll reply in this same post as i’m nearly at my 20 post limit)
Cheers,
Karim
