Getting radiator fixed on Friday, if it’s anything more serious, can I take the Volvo?
Err, well it might be serious too, it went to limp mode on Anderson drive today, booked in for diagnostics on Saturday
Any chance of a getting a lift if both cars are goosed???

i’ll be up at the caravan in the van 
got the car back today so its on my drive making me sadder
the site is just through pitlochry or you can bypass the town and take the next cut off after the bridge then head for killicrankie.you passa large sign on your left saying fiskally house then 500yds or so around the bend you’ll see the caravan site on the left (fiskally) just drive down to the bottom at the shop and i’ll meet you there

Chooch, no probs either, just let me know over the weekend, I still need to put my car back together on Friday if I get that far and its passed the MOT on Sat morning I could come and give you a hand, although Andrew sspeiper is looking for some help with engine bling too!

Is Andrew coming down? Would be good to see him since he wasn’t at crail. Do you know what bling he is planning? I’m going to have a lot of bits swapped out by the end of the month. And broxburn roundabout - isn’t that a little off route? I take it we are heading to pitlochry for 11?

I’m due back from Manchester at around 8pm on Saturday.
Down there for a couple of day doing a digital editing course. I’m gearing up to make my first movie!!
I have a nice powder coated plenum and front rocker cover to swap over, all Mings handy work.
If I’m not knackered by the course and travelling, I’ll eb at the meet. at least 9:30 am is a lot more civilised than last time!!
My car needs a good clean though…
I was wondering - that makes more sense…! Broxburn would be for meeting at your home. I’m easily confused :?

Basically down to Perth, meet up, drive to Pitlochry, visit surrounding area and have a BBQ at Scoob’s Van, perhaps we’ll take the scenic route home
Just got my radiator today (thanks Rob), it’s getting fitted and tested tomorrow. So fingers crossed I’ll make it :nervous:

I’m doing mine tomorrow. Was planning on doing mine next week but new coolant is even worse than the old stuff! I’m starting to wonder if it’s the rad cap that’s doing it. Anyone good enough at physics/chem who can tell me the boiling point of water at 1.3 bar? Fingers crossed I will still be able to make it.
i was talking to mark from sumiyaka and he said they use the same coolant as mitsubishi use ,greeny/blue colour
Cool. Did they mention what strength they use ie 50/50? I wasn’t sure if it was blue or red for our cars -good to know they use blue!

UPDATE: It’s fixed and pressure tested.
I’m going to do my oil and oil filter tomorrow - just easy jobs for me
Will investigate to ensure that there are no leaks what so ever.

Snap. I’m good now - changed out my radiator tonight - a proper grind of a job. Overheating is now no longer an issue for me thankfully! I war worried I wouldn’t be able to make it for fear of my car melting! Are you joining us for the day Mo?
