Adrian Flux have doubled my renewal!

Evening chaps & chapettes

Does anyone know of any insurance companies who will insure Nitrous Oxide??

My premium last year was £990 TPFT
Just had renewal through @ £1850!!!
(Apparently my current underwriters, Equity Red Star, have pulled out of insuring Nitrous, so Flux only had one ‘market/underwriter’ to pick from)

NOTHING has changed on the policy, I have behaved and not made any claims, had any smacks, developed any conditions, nowt zero, zilch.

So please people, does anyone know a suitable insurance company?
I’m 27 and very annoyed.

Cheers
Mark

Afraid not mate. I searched all over for companies who insured modified imports with nitrous. I’m fed up of paying through the nose for a smallish performance mod that’s too expensive to use regularly on the roads. It’s only there for track use, but you need to declare it to be safe.

This is why I’ve gone the route of having an easily removable system for track use, so I won’t be declaring the nitrous this year as I won’t have it fitted when on the road.

I’ve just invested in a large bottle so I can do my own refills - so running costs are not a prob now 8)

Alas insurance still is… however I work for a company that writes insurance software and have spoken to a chap there whos gonna ‘sort summink out for me’ - I’ll keep y’all posted!

(Fingers crossed)^10
