Apprently, because my car is Japanese they will not insure me. Nothing on their website that states anything about modified cars or imports. THerfore I’ve been fed a load of bull.
Time to call them back and discuss.

jus spotted this in the small print
“Subject to our insurer’s normal underwriting criteria”
Which basically means you were right first time and their statement means sweet f a.
Anything they are unable to beat your renewal on they can say “That didn’t meet our criteria, Sorry”
Still, bet they’ll get a few enquiries because of it
