There are few things more annoying than trying to decipher text superimposed on a photograph.
Hi @Lawrence_Harding I just spotted this feedback posted from way back in September…
… we have made many changed since then.
Are you still having issues or have things gotten better for you?
Cheers,
Dean.
Hi Dean,
To be honest I have hardly visited the site at all since then. The fundamental problem is that at the age of 61 my eyes are not as flexible as they used to be and my glasses are a compromise between distance and close up. I had no problems with the old set up of text on a plain background as (currently) on the ■■■■■ site, but I find it difficult to read text superimposed against a background picture. Is it possible for me to eliminate the “wallpaper”?
Cheers,
Lawrence
@Lawrence_Harding You can visit the mobile version of our site which is currently plain white.
Click here for normal site again.
Give it a try - if you are having trouble generally on all websites then there are other browser accessibility features you might want to consider using.
Let me know.
Cheers,
Dean.
