I was in the shower, Lel yelling up the stairs that something is wrong with a rat. Poor thing was on her side and couldn’t stand up, blood trickling from her eyes and nose and she just kept toppling over… Booked an emergency appointment at the vets and had to have our baby put down.
■■■■ day really, we only had her for about 3 months. She still feels warm in her wrapping so I can’t bring myself to burry her until tomorrow.
I will probably join the 3 in the garden when I get the bill, but who gives a ■■■■?
We love our ratties, it’s been a sad day at the Jones’s. Ah well… Life goes on.
condolances…one of ours isnt far from it too now, tumours spreading fast, makes us wonder why we keep pets sometimes, but i believe we would be lesser people if we didnt
Sorry to hear other peoples have recently gone or are not very well.
Returned home from work today to find Lel has been out and bought a pair of new ones to keep our last remaining one company, so we got THREE of 'em now!
I have lost pets, well they are more like family, in the past and everytime I say thats it no more… then over time I get another one. It’s just not the same without them.
