It has come to the attention of the Committee that a previously banned member, username ‘fastbikes’ - darrengto- Elton - is anonymously frequenting the forum and contacting members via PM, using various new usernames and accounts for the purpose of selling his own parts and the promotion of ■■■■■.
His most recent attempt to do this is under the username ‘darrengto’.
It is rare, a situation arises whereby we feel the need to ban a member, this is only done under specific circumstances.
GTOUK has a rule which only allows Full Members to advertise parts, the reason being, whilst we cannot be held responsible for every sale made on the Forum, the fact that there is a Full Member record, legitimate address etc, does provide a certain amount of security to our buying Members, i.e. this is for your protection.
We would therefore, ask you, if you could please not carry out any negotiations with any known banned member, and should you receive any contact from the aforementioned banned member alert a member of the Committee, such information received, of course, will be treated with discretion.
