just bought my insurance from Frizzels…1993 3000gt no mods fully comp 42 yr old with 9years ncb…£502.66 …but the strange thing was the guy didn’t ask for many details like points or tracker/immobilizers …thought that very odd…anyone else had any dealings with these guys? :smiley:

Yep, I’m with them too, and they don’t seem to care too much about details.

They quoted me the night before I picked my car up about the same as you. On picking up my car I phoned them again to buy the insurance and they refused as they had quoted for a manual and did not have an auto GTO non turbo on their database - sods - ended up getting direct line to cover me from my other car for three weeks while I sort out a good deal somewhere else!

I am also with Frizzel and paying around 480 which I was pretty pleased with. Do they need to know about my new induction kit and Powerflow exhaust system?

Dont think so - they dont seem to care about performance mods.

It might be wise to check with them tho … and if you do then get it in writing …

i know this is a very old tread but now that frizzle has decided not to insure imports and more importantly, modified cars, does this affect the existing customers upon renewal? i.e. cars with mods that have been insured during their “don’t care” attitude and their current no import/mod cars policy.

anyone got any info on this please?

I am with Frizzells through Liverpool Victoria. Got my renewal through today.

GTO TT Import, so as far as existing customers they still do imports.
