Best insurance companies?

Insurance up for renewal 31st of may and just wondered who is best to try and get a classic quote from? Who do people use and whats prices ect have you got? Never insured as a classic before, do you have to have access to another car to be able to insure like this?

Thanks

I’m far too old really for a GTO but I’m fighting… just got it for £162 with Adrian Flux. I’m not a great fan of the Company from past experiences but they were by far the cheapest. Limited miles and own other cars and old = Cheap Insurance!

Steve has been with RH Specialist on a Classic Car policy now for a good few years, just renewed last month at £253 policy excess £150. 2 drivers.

He was with Sky but we found the premium just went up year on year, with RH it has barely changed, give or take a few £ due to increase in IPT.

Thats perfect thanks. I will have a ring around tomorrow  :+1:

I am with RH as well whome I like, but they have changed branding or ownership this year so I dont know if this will change.
I have a multiple car policy, A Flux were a chunk cheaper but they wanted loads of photos and had many hoops to jump through, R H just accepted what I said, so hope I can stay with them. Do hunt around though, see who you can get on a good day !!!

Insured mine with RH specialist on classic insurance last month. £180 limited to 3000 miles a year, didn’t care about the miles doubt I’d be doing 3000 miles a year anyway.

I’m with a company called Autoline. You do need a daily for classic. 1500 miles, mods declared and agreed valuation for 9k . 169 quid.
