Best Insurance for people with points

Hi, Just bought my first GTO Twin Turbo 1994 mk2, Thought you might be interested in the insurance company I went with.
I thought i was going to pay mega money as I only have 1 years no claims and 8 points on my licence for speeding. I am 30 years old and am paying £701 Fully Comp.

The company is LiverpoolVictoria and can be contacted on 0800 864865.

The beauty about this company is that if you have points on your licence for speeding but have not been banned then the points are not taken into consideration. Thats great for someone like me with 8 points as i am treated like having no points on my licence.

What did they say about ppl with ban`s?

I got a 4 month ban and no points and £185 fine for speeding…

Have to agree. LV gave me the best quote by miles. No demands like alarms or trackers, couldn’t care less about mods as long as cc is not increased.

Thanks for that info. I was with Chaucer (through Peoples Choice). At 54 they cost me £550, fully comp, with £500 excess.
Just called Liverpool Victoria. They quoted £400, fully comp, with £400 excess. :smiley: I have 9 years no claims and 3 points for speeding.

I might be wrong, but I think LV only insure people over 30 on the GTO.

Thats right - and they wont insure anyone thats been banned either.

I cant share your optimism about Liverpool Victoria.
I know that im gonna pay through the nose for my insurance but for this beast im willing.
