Hi all,
I have had several people ask me about the birthday meet, it is happening again this year, there will be a venue change (not through choice). Visiting various sites over the weekend (which Sam cant wait for).
Sorry it has taken so long, I didnt realise it would take so long for someone to want to have is stay for a weekend, So details will be available soon.

Excellent news, we were gutted when we heard Billing was booked up as this is our favourite meet and thought it might not be on this year.
Thanks for taking the time to research a new place this weekend guys.
For those that haven’t been before, it’s like a mini JAE, smaller, but very personal and very friendly, with lots of fun and games, food and drink.
We will be there, just let us know where we have to go.

Here is the new venue for the birthday meet:
The date will be the weekend of 11th July. The venue has lots of stuff we can do, information is on the website with prices. I will add bookings via the club shop. If you are interested please add your name to give me an idea of numbers.
We can arrange, raft building/racing, popping down the river to the local pub by boat etc. There is a club house which will have live music or disco until 11-30/12ish every night. I have driven around the site, it looks nice and clean. A few speed bumps on the way in but I think they will be fine.
It works out at £16 per night for two people (tent and car) £4 per person for every extra members per night.
If you would like to do a day visit this costs £5
This is a family site so we won’t be having loud music this year, but I think there is plenty to do. We can even hire Sumo, Gladiators Duel stuff etc.

Well done Neil for coming up trumps again with organising what started off as a “one off” birthday meet, that has turned out to be one of the clubs premier events.
We will be there mid day Saturday until what ever time I’m sober enough to drive home on the Sunday
If for any reason the car can’t make it, we will get a taxi. It’s only 35 mins up the road from us.
The boat trip to a local pub sounds great. Looking forward to seeing you all there.
