Haha bit of a ■■■■-up on my part, I just re-read the thread and discovered I have booked the wrong weekend, I have booked this weekend when in fact you are all going away the weekend after! Doh! Will see if I can change my booking.
Kids have a birthday party to go to on that Sat so will probably be up later in the afternoon.
Lol Paul. Mr Brown is going to be disappointed when one of his group doesn’t turn up!
Dee.
It could have been worse, you could have got there and then thought where are they all.
Neil.
It might be a good do. Maybe we should all go this weekend too!
Dee.
This time next week peeps…
     :bandance: :bangreen:
Don’t forget those god awful roadworks guys & gals on M5 between J12-J10 if you are travelling Northbound that way, soooooo glad we won’t have to suffer those again this time, especially on a Friday!!!
Looking forward to seeing you all there.
Tracie

Will the fridge be in attendance with power?
No afraid not this year. Not unless I can talk my sister in to lending me her camper van, or I might be taking a 12v cool box. They do not allow generators. They do have electric hookups if anyone wants to sort that.
Neil.
I just looked and people with hoockups are generally seperate from people without hookups.
Going to have to find another way to keep food cold, or run to the shop each day.
Ok, all sorted, booking changed, I didn’t go for the hookup, coolbox should keep the beers cold enough for one night. Got quite a lot on this weekend so prob won’t arrive until late Saturday, 6pm’ish I reckon, so should be time to get the tent up, let the kids runs about a bit, then settle down for a few tins!
What time is everyone arriving at bash…as I will be on way about 5ish depending on work…if anyone wants to meet up and travel in convoy can meet at Cirencester travelodge…
Ok, Sorry been away and very busy so here is a few points answered:
We are going to bring some food, we are working on sorting the best way to cool food, if not we will visit shops etc. If you have any special diet needs please bring your own food as I dont want to be responsible for giving you the wrong thing etc.
Me and Samantha has completely funded this event ourselves for the last few years (with some donations of food etc from club members) so that’s why we offer limited food/drinks/presents etc and we have adopted back to basics attitude. There is also place on site which serves some hot food.
Please note: There is a £5 deposit when you get to the site for a fob that gets you everywhere. (which you hand in when you leave)
There is a 2pm check-in on the Friday which I am trying to get extended, you can extend it now but it’s £5 which I am trying to get removed.
This is the first time we have used this campsite hence we are having a few issues, so please bear with us we are trying our best to resolve everything this week.
I will put up another post with more information shortly.
Cant wait and hope the weather stays nice for us and any ideas welcome.
Cheers,
Neil.
To let people know this event is not a Club funded supply of food for each meal all weekend like JAE. The Birthday Bash has always been funded by Neil and Sam at their own cost.
This is how it goes:-
There will be BBQ facilities and a certain amount of food, but it will be a dig in and cook for yourselves, and hopefully also contributions to top up the food supply will be brought by those attending, that can be anything, burgers, sausages, milk, tin of beans eggs, cakes, etc it all helps.
Anyone with special dietary requirements will need to bring their own as the logistical side of running this meet for a weekend is hard enough without having to sort different dietary needs:-).
As this is a new venue so we will not know if we are next to a hook up until we get there, if we aren’t a shop run will be made by someone.
I hope this explains a little better.
Steve
Sorry Neil posted this at the same time as your reply:-)
Steve
Thanks for the top work as usual Neil and Sam 8)
Let us know how you get on with the arrival time on Friday , there isn’t a hope in hell I can get anywhere near that time so might make me change my plans to Saturday
really looking forward to the weekend 8)
