Hi everybody and thanks for letting me join. I’ve waited nearly 30 years for this!!! First saw a red one, owned by a paint sprayer who painted my Mk3 escort and fell in love straight away. I’m just about in a position where I can hopefully get one on my lowish budget.
So, does anyone know the car in the attached picture?
Going to have a look at it later on hopefully.
Any advice would be really helpful.

I would look for another one
Looks like the rear inner cill area that I think the report might be focussing on. The seller might well offer this car for an attractive price which would offset any welding repairs necessary. You never know. Looks a beaut otherwise.

Thanks gents. I’m a retiring fabricator / welder anyway just not usually on cars. Still have my mig set so as long as it’s not structural I should be OK.
140 mile round trip and it was a ■■■■!!!
Been poorly painted and badly maintained.
