My 1997 UK car has the later style window regulators with the lower bottom mounting point. I don’t think they’re interchangeable with earlier ones.
Hi John, no it won’t. There was a change at somepoint in 96. So this one that I have is a 97 so the later type.
The mounting points are different.

It was only after I messaged you that I thought your car was a newer model - but was hoping I was wrong 
. Never mind Paul, I’ll find one somewhere. I’m wary buying a cheaper new aftermarket regulator - as I’m unsure if they are robust enough ?

I can get them from Japan and have been selling them for many years, but don’t have any in stock at the moment as they very rarely go wrong, probably be 7-10 day from Japan.
