Not really but your fuelmaps , idle etc take a while to settle down
Mine used to take around 50 mile if the battery went flat for the ecu to stop fighting the piggyback , used to proper upset everything which is why I bought a cetek charger

That might just explain a few things, will look into trickle chargers, cheers
I agree it is highly recommend that you use a maintenance charger if the car not in use daily.i also have a c-tec maintenance charger and it keeps the battery in tip top condition.
