yeah but they have small print at the bottem think it says “subject to normal underwiting policy” or words to that effect that gives them room to get out of it. would be worth writing to Advertising standards agency though

Those adverts really tick me off as well … Iv heard loads of lame excuses from them as to why they wont insure me.

they may well beat a renewal price, but the renewal price is usually crap because people who cant be arsed to shop around will accept it, and the insurers make shed loads of money off it.
when i changed the 306 insurance, churchill beat the renewal quote by £6.
i spent 5 minutes online and beat it by £200.

But i had an email tonight from Churchill i assume through this site as they listed it to Mitsubishi GTO owners, so i thought i would give it a try
Worked out to £503 online , half of what I’m paying,
but!!!
they also state that modifications that alter the performance, value or desirability of the car may not be permitted 
not that i plan on changing as my car is insured with all mods declared through sky.
