Another great night with the party faithfull

But wasn’t that ■■■■■■ band loud :ignore:

Almost made it home without a hitch except on the M25 following a new Gulf at around about the speed limit, there was one almighty bang, blue smoke and then at that intense the front of my car was completly covered in gearbox oil
The windscreen turned white withthe spay off the road, now when your on the outside lane that is not a very good situation to be in with all the taffic

I did manage to get to the hard shoulder god knows how
But for the life of me i could not clean that screen enough to drive properly
it was dangerous but i drove 20 miles with basically no vision silly i know to reach a service station where the kind assistant gave us some washing up liquid, it done the job enough to get home

I don’t want to ever experience that episode again anyway

Merry xmas and all that goes with her

Hope to see all you folks in the new year

Regards

Malcolm & Bianca

Yep. Another good evening. Good hotel, good company, good wine!
Had to have a nap this afternoon to make up for lost sleep last night, though. The band didn’t sound too bad - from the bar.
Clear roads, apart from a bit of spray on the way home and, including that interminable stretch of 40 mph on the M1, I managed to average 75mph and 25.4 mpg!! A new record.
Thanks again to Mark et al for organising it.

Yes too loud is an understatement !!

Was great to meet you all, Karting was brilliant, food, party & company could not have been better, Merry christmas to everyone & hope to see you all next time.

Julian & Diane.

As usual a fantastic day and eve, karting was an absolutely awsome time.

The xmas meal was good and the company we had at our table were great.
Tracy and I had way too much drink, managing to get to bed at 3.45am

All the fun came with a price though as Tracy was sick in the car 5 times on the way home
Thank you to Mark and Alison for organising this event, well done

Steve and Tracy

I gotta add Lel and I’s thanks aswell. Really enjoyed the evening, it was absolutely superb, although the band was a bit on the quiet side IMO

To be fair: They were really good and played some good stuff. You can’t play drums quietly so all you can do is turn everything else up so as you’re not drowned out by drums. The hall they played in was just a big square box, so yes it was loud… ■■■■■■ good tho!

Thanks also to the organisers. It was a great hotel, I have stayed in a few but this was one of the friendliest that I have visited, had a laff with some of the staff. Met a few more faces and got off my head with that container of ■■■■■■ sherry that Stevie was dishing out all night!

Saw some lovely looking cars, there was even a pink one there!! Oh. And well done the Webbos keeping us all entertained. Great stuff. Look forward to meeting you all again soon. 8)

Dee + Lel.

Got to say I had a fantasitc night! Thank you to Alison & Mark but especialy to Mark as Alice & I will be laughing for months after some of your drunken comments and behaviour

Mark
PS: Any more takers for the winning raffel tickets
