This really is one of the Premier events in the GTOUK calendar & is worth the effort to attend, Anyone who has attended one of these will tell you the same, A brilliant night out 8)
I say this every year, because we don`t pay a deposit to secure the venue they let us book on trust with the proviso we pay our balance by the beginning of October, please bear this in mind when saying you will come & support us, I know times are hard for some of us but this really is worth the effort & you do have around 6 months to save up for it I have provisionally booked 25 rooms.
If you would like to attend please let me know if you require a room & give me your menu preferences at the same time & I will start a list:
We can’t miss the second best event of the year now can I (1st being my Birthday  )
As you may have already guessed Julian, We’ll be there :bangreen:
Can we please have
Soup x2, Traditional Roast x1, Wensleydale Bake x1, Lemon Meringue Pie x2
This may seem a little early this year guys but I do know if Julian hadn’t of booked this so early our Christmas event wouldn’t be in December
You are indeed correct, I booked the hotel in February & got the only Saturday still available in December, such is the popularity of the venue
I’m ■■■■■■ well working again that day … can’t you move it to a Monday  ?
Oh well, p’raps as well I can’t make it - I’d only upset people with my bawdy and black sense of humour…
Anyway, the swine flu pandemic will probably have induced our lovely government to ban all public meetings by then anyway. :x
I dare say we will be hounding you for a couple of tickets for the raffle as per usual
Julian.
Actually, as it looks like I’ve won the Car Of The Month fiasco, and said I’d donate the prize for the Christmas raffle, I was thinking of perhaps donating a Sat Nav instead this year… what do you think? Unless of course people still want the tickets instead…

Ps. I’ll dig something out for the raffle. Might not be much, but I will find something.
Lel and I will attend this. It is a lovely hotel, easy enough to get to. Great company/banter. The GTO Christmas bash has always been superb. Lel and I are Hotel Warriors now. LOL.
