Hi guys need help please
While driving gto when i press the clutch sometime it makes little tick noise and sometimes its normal!
Anyone know what is it please ?
Can’t wait to get this answer mine does the same!
What gearbox is yours ?
Mines 6speed manual.
Is the Tick Noise inside the cabin from under the dash ??
I had this on a 97 3000gt, I spent six months worrying but nothing bad happened.
Yes looks like it does come from under the dashborad,
Like i said it dissappear sometime but its worrying why is this hapenning ?
Mine is 5 speed @Skyraker might not be nothing serious but just curious to know because it never jsed to be😩
Probably the Clutch Pedal Pivot Plastic bushes have worn out
About £10 to buy and not a nice job to replace as you will be upside down under the dash to do them…
If t get bad it WILL be a MOT failure in the future

I will have one rob. I don’t remember mine ticking, but I have the dash and pedal out so I take it I could replace easily myself? Makes sense while its out.
Add it to my order if that’s ok and I will call you when you are back at work for payment.

Mine only does it sometime …shall i get it replcaed or leave it for now as longest it doesnt get stopped on road somewhere
Yeah its just the plastic bushes on the clutch pedal fulcrum. Prob moved about. Mine did it for years. Then I stripped it down and refitted it all and greased it up.

I would check the clutch pedal mechanism, bushings, spring and bolts. Maybe something loose and hits other parts.
