Am just wondering if anyone has put together a list of ‘Common’ problems with the GTO/GT all cars have em!
now… before you all chip in with things like .‘bank account leakage’, 'increased problems with taurets etc i mean the problems that could possible be avoided by checking them out periodically… think you know what i mean.

Main one unless there’s proof of a recent cambelt change with receipts etc , get it done , still no different to when you were here back in the day , it’s a ticking time bomb if unknown
Main difference to last time get underneath and check the floor pans for corrosion , wash out between the skirts and wings and blast the muck out of them get a decent underseal job done to help preserve it
Check your oil cooler joints on the hoses and also power steering joints where they go from flexi to hard pipes for weeps or leaks
Also clean out the front A pillars down the bottom of the front wings, crud really builds up here even though the cars have all that plastic trim under the arches. Open the doors and look down the front where the front wing goes down. That little cubby hole can cause a lot of damage.

believe the cambelt has been done and receipt is available, also i think all the mots are there as well so browsing through advisories should reveal any ongoing issues

When was the cam belt done ? was the cam belt tensioner oem or aftermarket ? Done mine few Years back and the aftermarket tensioner lasted only 16 months
