Just got an online quote for my 93 tt gto and fully comp was £405.33
My mates all put in silly cars and were getting silly cheap quots?
any ideas?

£264.89 nearly £150.00 less than my current premium.
Not sure, my car is also modified that they don’t ask about. No contact address on the website either-does look a bit dodgy. I’;; wait for a e-mail box full of spam now :?

also noticed you can pay by paypal and try to click on their terms and conditions only to find a page error.
Also, doesnt ask about my previous convictions, just if I have any in the last 5 years.

HMMMMM why not contact the FSA as they regulate all insurance now to confirm if it is genuine. If not they will close theM down in a jiffy, do you know the penalty for this kind of practise. Did try a bogus quote on a 1999 GTO with all the wrong boxes highlighted and it came through at £1333. Must be bull crap in my opinion. Can someone confirm with the FSA??

For all we know this could be a way of people finding out the addresses of cars that are wanted for “stolen to order” jobs. i sure as hell wont be putting my registration and home address in!
A similar thought crossed my mind when this was first posted James.
as you say people are entering car details and home addresses, i personally would leave it well alone, especially as it looks dodgy , the terms and conditions page still is down

The terms page works fine, it just makes you think there is a problem.
I have since put in very different quotes for silly things so they can come to my house and steal either a veyron or a nasa space shuttle.
