Dorset Japanese Car Show – Sunday 2nd August 2009
**Had a chat with NAS (Neil) and it seems to be an idea for all to meet up at about 8:45 outside the arena. Will scope it tomorrow for a good meet place unless Jeff has any ideas?

Hopefully we’ll have a Gazebo sorted… Neil and I both still hunting :?

I will be doing decent coffee, tea, croissants etc and bacon rolls for brekkie by the way.

David**
That only gives us 3/4 hour to get sorted :!: :o
Jeff.

David

If you dont get a Gazebo sorted and there is someone coming past mine you are more than welcome to use mine. Its the one that we had at the show in Newton Abbot. I’m just of J26 of the M5

If nothing gets sorted, i’ll drive up on Saturday and borrow yours Dave, if that’s o.k. I know that Claire would love to hear my exhausts at about 05:00 on Sunday morning but it might upset your neighbours.

Mark.

No problem. I’m out fishing all weekend in highbridge but I’ll sort it out and put it in the garage and if you give me a shout when you leave I’ll pop back as its only 20 mins away. Given the recent weather you would be wise to have some shelter  There’s no rush to get it back so I can pick it up next time we meet up.

**No luck with Gazebo :?

If you’re happy to do that Mark, we’d all be very grateful

David**

**Dave,

Thank you for the kind offer and going out of your way for this 8)

David**

Its not problem. I have dug out the end and side panel as well so it should provide some shelter but you may want to take some cable ties as I cant find the plastic slips for the sides.

Mark, will give you a ring Sat morning to see what plans there are for picking it up.

O.k, Dave, cheers.

Mark.

Thanks for Mark for sorting this

Neil.

**According to Jeff, we have to be in and setup by 9:30?

If that’s the case is 8:45 meet up going to be a bit late?

David**

I’ll be collecting the gazebo from Dave sometime tomorrow.
I’m meeting Paul [PAR] at Exeter services ay 06:30 Sunday morning and we’ll trundle up from there. I’ll call one of you lot when we’re nearer.

Mark.

The letter that came with the tickets say’s as follows:

“Site is open to traders and exhibitors including car clubs from 7:00am.
You must be on site and you must have completed your set up by 9:30am at the very latest.
Unless it is essential that you leave you are requested to remain on site untill 5:00pm before breakdown of your stand/pitch/stall or leaving the event.
Final site closure will be at 7:00pm so please ensure your area is clear and completely free of litter before leaving.”

Jeff.

**And I was supposed to read the letter?

Just looked at the nice coloured tickets

Jeff.

I will be attending  car needs a good clean up under the bonnet so I wont be making the stand this year. Look forward to seeing some faces.

**Okay… I’m planning on being there for 8:30 at the latest… unless someone can give me a more definitive time?

Just a short note to say it was really nice to actually meet some of the people that I talk to on the forum and we look forward to more meets.
