Dyno day 2016

just a feeler thread at the moment, to see if there would be sufficient interest in running a dyno day towards the end of January in 2016.

The format is pretty simple roll up at eurospec, power run is performed for about £30, usually 3 runs.

Had a great crack last year, although numbers werent’ massive it was a nice friendly little click. All the fun and frollocks of knowing whether your car will explode on the dyno or not, lol and great to socialise with everyone post New year.

Ben has room so post up if you’d be interested in going, he’ll always give you pointers on where to go next too.

Its just too early in the year for me as mine wont be back together by then…

Far too early in the year for me for the gto.
My busiest time of year at work also, so will not be there to spectate.
Hope that the day goes well.
Can we do it in spring next time?

Yeah I’m in for this , got something now worth putting on the rollers , be nice to see where it’s currently at , incase I ever want to mod it , not that I ever ever never not going to happen in a million years tune it

I’d be up for this. Never put her on the Dyno so would be interesting to see how well the gto performs - will also help my dry January aim doing a bit of driving :smiley:

I will definitely turn up if i can but not sure if the 3KGT will be ready to run. If she is then she will run. If not then I will come along as a spectator. Could always put the mondeo on! haha

With the luck im having and the lack of numbers we’ll have to pick this up at some other point.

Timing belt is ripped and just jumped timing whilst investigating. Me thinks ive just avoided nr catastrophe.

Oh that sucks , is that the old engine or the special one , if it’s the old engine I hope it’s dead :laughing: get the new one in sooner

Old engine, id just finished re-torquing the front heads when i noticed it. Timing wise it couldnt be worse.

Rob,

If I can get Tango to you in time would you mind putting on the dyno as a benchmark before it is remapped?

I can get her delivered to you but you will have to sort out when and where with Elton.
