Im organising a dyno day on Sunday the 3rd of October.
I hope to see all you guys there at
From their web site:-
Eurospec is a specialist in Japanese Performance Cars. We were established in 1999 and since then we have been working on sports cars from the major manufacturers including Honda, Subaru, Toyota, Mazda, Nissan, and Mitsubishi.
We have a down to earth and fun approach to our work, and we offer servicing, mechanical repairs and tuning. Our experience has grown over the years and now our Mitsubishi GTO is the fastest over the 1/4 mile in the country, recently breaking our own record that had stood from 2005.
On dyno day there will be tea/cofee/tins of coke/diet/ biccies, and if you are doing pizza, Eurospec will subsidise it. They also have a gas bbq you can use if you want
So put your names down if you can come, this will be posted in other forums and may be other makes of cars german or jap or even british. I will update this list with names of people that can come from all forums.
What sorta times will this happen? I see 7:30am in the title, will everyone have to be there by then? I’m normally quite the late riser on non-work days and wouldn’t be able to get out of bed by then, let alone to Guildford

I’m guessing we’ll have a printout from our run?
hi mate, yes there will be a printout, and also im not good at waking up early, it shud start around 9 and finish whenver the last person there goes.
hi there,
I will pop down on that day but my car won’t be ready by then but it will be in Ben’s garage, so would love to come and see the other cars on the Dyno.
I’ve just got my as yet un-trusted GTO re-assembled and taxed and it seems I’ve put it back together OK but I’m a bit apprehensive about giving it the full beans when I’m not sure what will happen! I figure it’s best to do this in a controlled environment and this day is IDEAL!
I’ll plan on setting off from oop norf about 9ish to get there about mid-day, I assume that’s OK?
I’m glad I continued the horrendous 200 mile drive as thanks to Ben doing a dyno run with boost logging and combined with my unwillingness to thrash my GTO which didn’t ‘feel right’ I’ve avoided a potentially fatal engine death by overboost. The first abandoned dyno run it started to shoot up past 1.1bar! My own solenoid was stuck closed, so we tried another solenoid but think the ECU isn’t pulsing it.
So I’m running on wastegate pressure only at the moment until I sort some alternative boost control - but still got 274.2bhp at 0.4bar, which I’m rather chuffed with!
Typical how the days either side of Sunday are sunny! Grr!
 That’s all that ran on the day. Still, massive big up to Ben for still being up for it.
there were other cars and GTO’S that ran including a classic Rover SD1 3.9 v8 that got 200 bhp, but all i can say is that 499.3 is easily going to be over 500 very soon.
I Am going to organise one again, but unfortunatly it will be in January as everyones going to be skint on Christmas. hopefully will be more GTO’s then german cars.
Madluka, thanks for comming down mate. was great to you see i had a great day.
