East Yorkshire Meet

Ok All. Just been in touch with Ferryboat Inn at Howden. There car park is flooded and as this wet stuff is forcast to continue, I think it might be a good idea to postpone the meet for tomorrrow, unless anyone has a ambphibious GTO. If so it would be worth turning up.
How about Sept 20th. Same time same place.

Hi Red Devil, Should be ok for this one. Lets hope more turn up for this meet than the last one (me). Get back to me and we can arrange a meet and run down together. PS was that you i pulled alongside on holderness Rd about 4 weeks back? Look forward to meeting you, Regards Ken.

I havn’t been to any meets for a while. I originally started the meets at Ferryboat, but I think Robbie took over for the last couple of months.
It might have been me on Holderness Road, my sister lives up that way…West Hull boy myself.
If your up to a meet before Ferrybridge, great. How about Humber Bridge foreshore about 12ish?

I might be able to make this one…will see how next week pans out!

Cheers
Neil

Darren

Should be able to make this meet . Also may be going to Sherburn next tuesday evening anyone else going?
Martin

Ok Martin, might be up for next Tuesday art Milk Bar…What time you going?

Should be about 7pm
anybody else?
Martin

Hi Martin, Can’t make Tuesday so hope to meet you Saturday at the Ferryboat. Regards , Ken.

Sorry folks, I can’t make this one as I am away fishing the Water Industries Coarse Angling Championships with my work’s team on the Shropshire Union Canal at Little Ohn - oh and I am the defending champion - last year I won on the Thames in Oxford, (after 15 years of trying) with 168lb 4oz of bream, roach and a couple of pesky american crayfish that the thames seems to be full of - ■■■■■■ pincers on them things hurt! - ok I didn’t weigh them in.

Ken - thought I’d reply on here as I don’t want to keep the other thread running.

It would have been nice to see a few new faces and cars, but hey-ho - maybe next month. Will try and make tuesday at the milk bar and meet up with those who are going…I would suggest a little earlier than 7pm as it gets very full in the main car park - so if we try for 6pm, we might all be able to park together for club presence.

John

Last month there was 16 FTOs and only 1 GTO?
Will try for 6pm
Martin

Ok guy’s I’ll try for 6 aswell. See you there

As my car is made of sugar…“rain stops play”…it’s unlikely I will make this meet…sorry! :frowning:

I also have a lot of work on at the moment…which is a good thing!

Cheers
Neil

Should have checked the site?
Went to the Ferryboat no water in the carpark? waited about an hour and just returned to find out cancelled
Also called at Steve Kays no one in
Unable to make the 20th
Martin

ok martin, soory about that. I called them at 16.30 yesterday and they said they were flooded out, in the car park, and no one could get in. So I put that info on web page.
