Anyone with a UK MK1 3000GT planning to keep it running should consider this a worthwhile investment - and at that price an absolute bargain, an ECU repair could cost that much.
Maybe the club or one of the traders should buy it as a handy thing to have around!
Just as a matter of interest will this run in a tt gto to delimit etc. but with all the right settings for active stuff ie. aero, suspension etc. And would it fuel the engine ok given the smaller turbos on the gto

i don’t think it will Andy, there are some differences in the gto to gt that the ecu will see!
Paul
It might throw the Check Engine Light due to no EGR system on the GTO -and I believe the timing/fuel map will be different to cater for daily driving on 95ron.
i think the 3000gt’s have 2 O2 sensors, front and rear bank, where as the gto’s only have one close to the CAT?
someone correct me if i am wrong.

You are correct
they will run the gto tt … very very well .
if you can live with the cat light on or take the bulb out you will notice the difference in performance to a stock gto tt ecu .
and very very cheap to add …

Run very very well as in the car drives about, or runs very well and everything is 100% ok when you log/read what the car is doing as there is a big difference in the two!
