I have managed to convince Bob at EK2 Developments to produce a small number of N/A Downpipes for all years of GTO NON TURBO as so many of you have e-mailed me trying to buy them and missed out on our other Downpipe group Buy.
The Minimum number for this to happen is [size=24]NOW 5[/size] and they will be at the price we did the Twin Turbo Downpipes for, which is £270.00 delivered to your door.
The last of out current shipment of Twin Turbo Downpipes shipped this week, so we will run this group buy Until **[size=24]MARCH 14TH [/size]**and then will be in a position to ship them to you the week after.
I must stress to you all that this is a one time offer for the N/A Downpipes as the two companies have so much development stuff happening, that we will not have the chance to do this again till the very late part of this year, So buy them why you can and enjoy the extra performance they will give you now.
Well, I have unfortunately got a 3SX pipe now, but I would have had one. The 3SX option was difficult to fit, because it is designed for the FWD NAs, not our AWD versions. So, to get the pipe around the transfer box some jiggery-pokery was required.
The perform improvement was still good, but I still get a little squeek from the pipe and box rubbing together.
For all of you with NAs, I cannot stress enough that this is a great product with good tuning bonuses. The pipe fits properly, and, along with the exhaust and intake kit you have purchased already , you will feel the improvements.
It would be a real shame if this group buy does not come off
now im going to make myself sound a little stupid, but this replaces the pipes forward of the cat up to the engine. As i am getting a new exhaust including the cat replacment i suppose i would be silly not to put my name down, after all its only money and if the rest of the exhaust is anything to go by, im sure this will be next, if fact i think the flexi pipe maybe just starting to blow, so thats one down just got to get the rest of us n/a owners to partake :lol:

seriously they do look a lot better design than the standard ones,
any idea how much more power from them?
unfortunately still have gearbox / TCU problems, so may have to wait till the next batch later in the year.

Any idea of what sort of power increase these downpipes would give.It would have to make a NOTICABLE difference in power for me to be able to justify buying one.
No idea Lee - but I suspect it’ll be worth your while putting it on.
Im really surprised by this. When I had an N/A (before the TT) I was always moaning about the lack of performance upgrades - and I assume I wasnt the only one.
I thought you guys would of been fighting each other to get your hands on anything that’ll make the car perform better.
Perhaps the N/A people just dont look at the GROUP BUY section (maybe they already assume the worst …)
Do we think in this case somebody should put something in GENERAL pointing them here?
Adam, Im afraid in my case its not that I dont want the performance goodies its being able to justify spending 200-300 quid on something that may make no noticable differenceto the performance of the car.
Believe me if I was single I would be spending my hard earned cash on every performance goodie I could get my hands on but as a lot of you will know, having a wife and young child that is unfortunatly not always possible
